BICSI Telecom Identity
BICSI provides information, education and knowledge assessment for individuals and companies in the ITS industry. They serve more than 23,000 ITS professionals, including designers, installers and technicians.
This well established identity had become dated looking and needed a complete modernization, from logo to printed collateral and Website. We worked with
BICSI to keep some of the familiar look and feel of the logo, while simplifying it and strengthening it's graphic statement. We italicized the font and customized it to give it a sleeker appearance. We eliminated the globe graphic and introduced a simply horixon arch that both represents the gloabe and also acts as a 'connector' between the to dots over the letters 'i' symbolizing communications.
BICSI employs numerous in-house writers and graphic designers to products it's hundreds of technical publications and monthly magazine. We designed a graphic standards booklet that provides these creative professionals with a framework and also the graphical tools they need to keep the identity looking consistent and fresh.
